The Office: The Story of Us mural by Hagopian Arts is a project of Scranton Tomorrow's Mural Arts Program with support from Universal Television and Peacock. The Lackawanna County Visitors Bureau is the premier sponsor. The mural at 503 Lackawanna Avenue, Scranton, Pennsylvania, was completed in August 2023.
This incredible initiative, orchestrated by Scranton Tomorrow and created by Hagopian Arts, is a loving nod to a show that embedded Scranton firmly into the hearts of millions across the globe. This mural is more than a painting; it is an invitation to live a chapter of your own Scranton story.
Kala Hagopian, founder of Hagopian Arts in Philadelphia, PA, and her team spent a year creating The Office mural featuring life-like depictions of 17 fictional characters from the Dunder Mifflin Scranton office, along with key phrases and notable elements from The Office TV show. The mural was painted in-studio on synthetic cloth in various sections that were pieced together and permanently installed on the wall of the building at 503 Lackawanna Ave in Downtown Scranton.
